Meetings and congresses

Meeting siblings and family members is very important for us and a great opportunity of exchange and growth.
Therefore, during the years we have organised meetings with siblings and parents in several Italian cities (Bari, Naples, Macerata, Venice, Perugia, Nardò, Livorno, and, of course, Rome where many of us live) to tell our experience of siblings of people with Down’s Syndrome. Besides, over the years our group has taken part in congresses on DS and other disabilities both in Italy (Milan, Naples, Pisa, Verona, Agugliano, Pisa, Roma) and abroad (Winnipeg, Canada).
Apart from supporting families, the most important characteristic of these intense meetings is the opportunity to meet new siblings and create new self-help groups.
